Every missed call is a customer who called someone else.
Not anymore.
It picks up every call, books appointments and answers questions. Your staff take the calls that need a person.
This is what your callers will hear
A real inbound call, start to finish: the phone menu, a keypress, the AI receptionist rebooking an appointment, the caller cutting in, and a warm handoff to a person who already knows why they are calling. Press play.
Running the business on a mobile is costing you customers
Calls ring out, the number lives in one person's pocket, and nobody answers after hours. WhautoVoice fixes all three for less than a day of a receptionist's pay.
Missed calls are lost customers
More than half of calls to small businesses ring out or hit voicemail. Almost none of those callers leave a message. They dial the next name on the list, and you never find out.
One mobile, one person, one line
Whoever holds the phone is the phone system. A second caller hears busy. Nobody knows who called or what was promised. When that person leaves, the number leaves with them.
Nobody answers at 7am or 8pm
A third of calls arrive before you open, over lunch or after you close. A full-time receptionist costs a salary every month and still covers 40 hours out of 168. Voicemail is where the rest give up.
Still running the business on somebody's mobile?
The phone is where customers arrive with money in hand. A personal mobile, a shared handset or a voicemail box is where they leave. Here is what a proper business line changes.
A number that belongs to the business
It sits on your website, your Google listing and your van. It survives the receptionist leaving, the founder going on holiday and the office moving. Add a second number for the new location without touching the first.
Answered at 7am and at 11pm
A third of calls arrive before you open, over lunch or after you close. The AI answers on the first ring at every hour, books the job, and leaves your team a summary instead of a voicemail nobody plays.
Every caller lands in the right place
Emergencies ring the on-call phone. New enquiries go to whoever sells. Billing goes to billing. Callers can press a key or just say what they need, and the AI routes them.
A record of every conversation
Who called, why, what was promised and by whom. Recordings and searchable transcripts on every call, attached to the contact, so a dispute is a search instead of a memory test.
Five callers at once. Same number.
A busy signal is a customer sent to a competitor. A business line answers every caller in parallel, queues the ones who need a person, and tells them where they are in line.
Consent, hours and do-not-call, built in
Recording notices per number, business-hours routing, holiday schedules and do-not-call tags on contacts. The boring compliance work is a setting, not a policy document.
It runs on carrier and AI accounts in your name. Here is why that is better for you.
Open an account with Telnyx, Twilio, Plivo or Vonage for calls, and with OpenAI, xAI Grok, ElevenLabs or Sarvam AI for the AI. Paste the keys and you are live in about ten minutes. They bill you at their published price. We charge one flat fee for the phone system on top.
- You pay cost price, and it stays cost priceMost voice AI products resell telephony and AI inside a per-minute rate that is two to four times the underlying cost. With your own accounts there is no middleman, and the rate does not creep up as you grow.
- The number and the recordings are yoursThey live in accounts you control, not ours. If you ever leave WhautoVoice, the number keeps working and nothing needs porting.
- Paste a key. That is the whole setup. No webhook URLs, no SIP settings, no console work. We point the carrier at us for you. Mix providers as you like, and switch the AI engine per AI agent later without touching the number.
- One flat plan, one meter.Processed minutes are our fee for handling each call, included in the plan and half a cent each beyond it. Nothing else from us, and nothing per minute from your providers is marked up.
| Bundled voice AI vendor | WhautoVoice | |
|---|---|---|
| Telephony minutes | Marked up inside a per-minute rate | Your Telnyx, Twilio, Plivo or Vonage rate, billed by them |
| AI speech and reasoning | Marked up inside the same rate | Your OpenAI, Grok, ElevenLabs or Sarvam AI rate, billed by them |
| Human agent talk time | Metered per minute at the vendor's AI rate, or not offered | Counted as processed minutes, half a cent each above your plan |
| Live agent desk, queues, transfers | Usually a separate product | Included on every plan |
| What you pay the platform | Grows with every minute | Flat monthly fee, from US$39 |
| Who owns the carrier relationship | The vendor | You |
AI answers. Humans take over. One platform.
An AI receptionist and a real call desk in the same tool, on the same number, with the same reports. Every screen below links to its guide in the Help Center.
An AI receptionist you brief in plain English
Pick a template, write the greeting and the instructions the way you would brief a new hire, choose a voice, and put it on a number. It speaks naturally on OpenAI, xAI Grok, ElevenLabs or Sarvam AI, on your own key.
- Templates for appointments, support, sales and outbound, filled in and ready to edit
- Hear any voice before you commit. Switch engines per AI agent without touching the number.
- Built-in tools: transfer to an agent, look up the caller, add notes and tags, take a message
- Reach your own systems mid-call through custom HTTP tools or any remote MCP server
- A handoff queue per AI agent, so "can I speak to someone" always rings a person
Press 1 for sales, drawn on a canvas
Drag steps onto the canvas, connect them, activate. The number follows the flow on the next call, and keypresses are handled at the carrier edge so menus never lag.
- Ask the caller: menu, collect digits, say a message or play your own audio
- Decide: business hours with holidays, or a condition on tags, stage or a value collected earlier
- Do: tag the contact, notify the team, call a webhook, set a stage, schedule a callback
- Send the call: AI voice agent, call queue, ring an agent, voicemail, forward to a number
- Validation before activating, so a dead end never reaches a caller
Your team answers in the browser. Nothing to install.
The softphone rings on whichever page you are on. Answer, mute, hold, record, transfer to a teammate or a queue, and wrap up with a note and an outcome.
- Live board: active calls, who is waiting in a queue, which agents are free
- Queues that ring round robin or least busy, only to agents who are available
- Presence with wrap-up and auto-offline timers, so nobody is rung after they leave
- The AI's transcript and handoff reason arrive with the call. Callers never repeat themselves.
- A caller-waiting alert that rings the whole team until someone presses Take call
Every call recorded, transcribed and searchable
Open any call and read what was said, play the recording, follow the timeline and see the notes and outcome your team left. It is all attached to the contact, so a dispute is a search.
- Real-time transcripts on Twilio, with the AI agent and the caller shown separately
- Recording per number, plus a Record button agents can use mid-call
- The AI agent files a one-line summary and its handoff reason on every AI call
- Notes and dispositions on every call. Filter history by status, number, agent or date. Export in bulk.
Fill the calendar while the team sleeps
A campaign rings a list for you. Either an AI agent makes every call, or WhautoVoice dials and hands each answered call to a free agent, so your team only speaks to people who picked up.
- Audience by tag or segment. Anyone tagged unsubscribe is left out.
- Retries, pacing and answering-machine detection built in. Runs inside your business hours.
- Reminders, recalls, reactivation, surveys and lead follow-up from the outbound templates
- Every outcome written to the contact, results exported as a file, a notification when it finishes
The numbers a manager asks for, without a spreadsheet
Answer rate, missed calls, average wait, service level, AI share and resolved by AI, for the last 7, 30 or 90 days.
- Call volume by day and busiest hours, so you can staff the desk and set business hours
- Agents tab: calls, answered, missed and talk time per person
- Queues tab: abandoned calls and longest wait, so you know which queue needs another member
- Numbers and day-by-day tabs, plus full data exports in the background
One account. A separate phone system per location, brand or client.
A workspace is a complete front desk: its own numbers, provider keys, AI agents, call flows, queues, calls and reports. Switch between them from the header.
- Contacts, tags, pipeline stages and team members are shared, with one history per caller
- Provider keys per workspace, so an agency keeps every client's carrier bill separate
- Each team member is given exactly the workspaces they may open
- Growth includes 3 workspaces, Scale includes 10, and any plan can add more
A CRM that already knows who is calling
Every caller becomes a contact with their calls, recordings, notes and tags in one timeline. The AI agent greets known callers by name and skips the questions you already have answers to.
- List and pipeline views, with stages you rename to whatever your team says out loud
- Tags, segments and custom attributes that drive routing, campaigns and AI agent behaviour
- CSV import with column matching, bulk actions and full export any time
- Click to call from any contact
Plays well with what you already run
Every call is an event your systems can react to, and every AI agent can reach into your software while the caller is still on the line.
- REST API with per-workspace API keys for calls, contacts and campaigns
- Webhooks on call started, answered, ended, recorded and transcribed, with a delivery log
- Automation rules that tag, assign, notify, update a stage or call a webhook after any call
- Custom HTTP tools and remote MCP servers inside every AI voice agent, with secrets encrypted at rest
Your customers already message you on WhatsApp. Now they can call you there too.
A customer taps call in the chat and it rings in WhautoVoice over SIP trunking on your Telnyx or Twilio account. The same AI agents, flows, queues and teammates answer, and the call is recorded, transcribed and reported like any other.
- Connect your Whautomate or WhautoChat number, or another partner that supports WhautoVoice, and your WhatsApp numbers appear ready to route
- Billed by your carrier as a SIP minute, about US$0.002 on Telnyx or US$0.004 on Twilio, not a phone minute. Calls your customer starts are free from Meta
- Call them back from the inbox once they have granted permission in the chat
- Counted as processed minutes like any other call, so nothing extra from us
Works with Whautomate and WhautoChat, which hold your WhatsApp Business account and inbox, and with other partners that support WhautoVoice.
Add WhatsApp minutes to your carrier billYour business phone system, on the go.
The WhautoVoice app for iOS and Android puts the agent desk in your pocket. Take and make calls on your business number, see who is waiting on the floor, and wrap up with a note before the next one rings.
- Incoming calls ring a locked phone like a normal call, with Answer and Decline far apart and a way to silence the ringer
- A dialler with a caller ID picker, contact matching as you type, and your call log filtered by all, missed or mine
- Mute, hold, keypad, speaker, record, transfer and notes in the call, then outcome chips the moment it ends
- Contacts with each caller's history and pipeline stage, availability and workspace switch in settings
Also on every plan

Clinics and dental practices
Book, reschedule and confirm around the clock. Route anything that sounds urgent to a person immediately. Recall lapsed patients with an outbound AI agent.

What you pay us
A flat monthly fee for the platform: AI voice agents, call flows, the browser agent desk, queues, campaigns, recordings, reports and your team's seats. It includes a monthly allowance of processed minutes, our fee for handling each call, and extra minutes are US$0.005 each.
What you pay your providers
Call minutes and AI usage, billed on your own Telnyx, Twilio, Plivo or Vonage account and your own OpenAI, Grok, ElevenLabs or Sarvam AI key, at their published rates.
Two separate bills, and we never touch the second one. We do not resell AI or telephony and we add no markup, so provider charges never appear on your WhautoVoice invoice. Processed minutes are our platform fee for the work on each call: routing, the AI agent or the agent desk, recording, transcript and reporting. They are not the call charge. Your carrier still bills the call minute and your AI key still bills the AI usage, at their published rates.
Every plan includes
- Bring your own Telnyx, Twilio, Plivo or Vonage
- WhatsApp calling over SIP on Telnyx or Twilio
- iOS and Android agent app
- Bring your own OpenAI, Grok, ElevenLabs or Sarvam AI key
- Zero markup. Providers bill you direct
- Extra minutes at US$0.005 a minute
- Browser softphone for every agent
- AI voice agents with tools and MCP
- AI to human warm transfer
- Visual call flows (IVR)
- Call queues and business hours
- Outbound campaigns
- Recordings and transcripts
- Reports and daily rollups
- REST API, API keys and webhooks

- CRM in 8 languages
Add-ons, when one limit is in the way
Stack any of these on any plan, monthly, cancel any time. Usually cheaper than moving up a tier for one number.
Five more people on the softphone, with presence and queues.
Billed in blocks of 1,000 minutes (US$5 a month each). A platform fee on top of what your carrier charges for the call, not a call rate. Stack as many as you need.
Three more sub-accounts with their own numbers, AI agents, queues and keys, plus 5 numbers.
Ten more numbers from your own carrier account, routed however you like.
No overage, ever. If you use up your processed minutes in a busy month, calls pause until the cycle resets or you add a block of minutes. Nothing is charged behind your back. Whatever your plan, AI and telephony charges are separate and paid directly to your connected providers. Details in the FAQ.
Outgrowing Scale and the add-ons?
We build custom plans for contact centres and multi-brand groups, with volume minutes, higher concurrency and an SLA.

The other half of the bill, by country
Your carrier bills you direct, at their published rates, with nothing added by us. Here is what those rates are.
Published list prices, last checked . Carriers change rates without telling us and apply volume discounts we cannot see, so these may be out of date. Always check the carrier's own price page before you budget. Nothing here is billed by WhautoVoice.
A receptionist costs a full salary every month. The AI starts at US$39.
This is not about replacing your best person. It is about not hiring the second, third and night-shift one. Let the AI absorb the volume and keep your people for the calls that need them.
| Human receptionist | WhautoVoice AI agent | |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly cost | A full salary, plus taxes and benefits, per person | From US$39 plus a few cents a minute to your providers |
| Hours covered | 40 a week, minus lunch | 168 a week, holidays included |
| Callers at once | One. The rest hear ringing. | Every caller, in parallel |
| Time to answer | Three to six rings, then voicemail | First ring, every time |
| Sick days, holidays, turnover | Yes, and the phone rings out | Never |
| Notes after the call | When there is time | Every call transcribed and summarised |
| The hard calls | Handled with judgement | Handed to your people with the context already captured |
| Time to hire and train | Four to eight weeks | About 15 minutes |
Your numbers
Front-desk time you would otherwise hire for the phones.
Loaded cost includes salary, taxes and benefits. The AI number is a WhautoVoice plan sized to the minutes plus your carrier and engine usage at the rate you enter.
What do your AI calls actually cost?
Move the slider. The left number is what a bundled voice AI vendor charges at a typical all-in rate. The right number is what you pay in total with WhautoVoice: your carrier bill, your AI engine bill, and our flat fee for the plan that fits.
The gap grows with every minute. Human minutes are not in this sum: bundled vendors meter them at their AI rate, while WhautoVoice counts them as processed minutes at half a cent each above your plan.
Open the full calculatorDefaults are illustrative. Carrier and AI engine rates vary by country and model. Edit them to match your invoices. Human minutes on WhautoVoice cost your carrier rate plus half a cent above the plan allowance, never an AI charge.
Your keys, your numbers, your recordings. Ours to protect, never to own.
Bring-your-own-key is a security model as much as a pricing one. Nothing important lives only with us.
Keys encrypted at rest
Carrier credentials, AI keys and tool secrets are encrypted with AES-256-GCM the moment you save them, and are never displayed again. Disconnect a key and it is gone from our systems immediately.
You own every account
Numbers, call records and recordings live in your own carrier account. AI usage runs under your own OpenAI, xAI, ElevenLabs or Sarvam account. Leaving WhautoVoice is a decision, not a migration.
Role-based access per workspace
Agents see their calls. Managers see the reports. Only owners touch keys and billing. Each workspace is sealed from the others, which is what makes agencies and multi-location groups comfortable.
Retention you control
Transcripts and call history are kept for 60 days, 6 months or 12 months by plan, then deleted. Recordings stay in your own carrier account, on your carrier's clock. Delete a single call, a contact or the whole workspace yourself, any time. Export everything in the background.
Consent tooling per number
Recording on or off per number, a spoken notice in the greeting, an AI disclosure in the AI agent's opening line, and do-not-call tags on contacts that campaigns respect. Compliance is a setting.
PDPA and GDPR aligned
Operated by a Singapore company under the PDPA, with GDPR and UK GDPR support for customers serving Europe. We act as your processor for call data, never sell it, and never use it to train models. Read the privacy policy.
Questions people ask before they sign up
A Telnyx, Twilio, Plivo or Vonage account, an OpenAI, xAI Grok, ElevenLabs or Sarvam AI API key, and a browser. Paste the credentials into WhautoVoice, point a phone number at an AI agent, call flow, queue or agent, and take your first call. Most teams are live in about 15 minutes. If you do not have a carrier account yet, Twilio signup takes a few minutes and comes with trial credit.
Not for the call, and not for the AI. Telephony is billed to you directly by your carrier at their published rates, and AI usage is billed by your AI engine (OpenAI, xAI Grok, ElevenLabs or Sarvam AI) at its published rates. WhautoVoice never marks up either, and neither charge ever appears on your WhautoVoice invoice.
What you pay us is a flat monthly or yearly plan that includes a set number of processed minutes, our platform fee for handling each call. Starter includes 3,000 a month, Growth 12,000 and Scale 50,000, and extra minutes are half a cent each in blocks of 1,000. There is no overage: if you use up your minutes in a busy month, calls pause until the cycle resets or you add a block, and nothing extra is charged. Other add-ons on any plan: +5 agent seats US$49, +3 workspaces US$59, +10 phone numbers US$15 a month.
Three reasons. Cost: you pay the provider's price with no markup, and bundled voice AI vendors typically charge two to four times the underlying cost per minute. Ownership: your numbers, recordings and provider credits stay in accounts you control, so leaving is a decision, not a project. Control: disconnect a key or move a number whenever you like, and your recordings stay where you already trust them.
Telnyx, Twilio, Plivo and Vonage for calls and numbers, with Vobiz, Exotel and Infobip on the roadmap. For the AI agent you can use OpenAI Realtime, xAI Grok, ElevenLabs Conversational AI or Sarvam AI, chosen per AI agent and each on your own key, so a booking agent can run on one engine and a support agent on another.
It transfers the caller to a live agent, with the transcript so far, based on rules you write in plain English: "hand off if the caller asks for a person, mentions pain, or wants a refund". Agents answer in the browser softphone. If nobody is available, the call goes to a queue, voicemail or a callback, whichever you configure for that number.
Yes. OpenAI, Grok and ElevenLabs each understand and speak dozens of languages and can switch mid-call when a caller does. Sarvam AI is built for India instead of the world: eleven Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi and Indian English, with the speech and the reasoning both running in India. The agent CRM itself ships in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Arabic, Chinese and Malay.
Yes. Any number in your Telnyx, Twilio, Plivo or Vonage account appears in WhautoVoice and can be pointed at an AI agent, flow, queue or agent. To bring a number from another carrier, port it into your provider account first, which is the same process you would follow without us.
One minute of connected call time that WhautoVoice handled, rounded up, whether an AI agent, a call flow, a queue or a live agent took it. It is the fee for the platform's work on that call. Your carrier still bills the call minute and your AI provider still bills the AI usage, both directly to you, and neither appears on a WhautoVoice invoice. Every plan includes a monthly allowance and extra minutes are half a cent each, in blocks of 1,000.
Provider credentials and API keys are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and can be disconnected at any time. Numbers and recordings live in your own carrier account. Transcripts are kept for the retention period of your plan and can be exported or deleted whenever you choose. Access is role-based per workspace. See the Security section and our Privacy Policy.
Yes. Workspaces are fully separate phone systems inside one account: their own numbers, AI agents, call flows, queues, team members and provider keys. Growth includes 3 workspaces and Scale includes 10, and any plan can add 3 more for US$59 a month. Agencies use them to keep each client's carrier bill and data separate.
Yes. The WhautoVoice agent app for iOS and Android takes and makes calls on your business number, shows who is waiting, and wraps up with a note. On the desktop, agents use the browser softphone. Call flows can also ring an agent's mobile number directly as a fallback.
WhautoVoice is cloud-hosted today. Self-hosted and whitelabel editions, like the ones our sister products WhautoChat and WhautoMail offer, are on the roadmap. Email hello@whautovoice.com to be notified.
Your customer taps the call button in your WhatsApp chat and the call arrives in WhautoVoice like any other, so the same AI agents, call flows, queues and teammates handle it, and it is recorded, transcribed and reported the same way.
It needs a Whautomate or WhautoChat account, because that is where your WhatsApp Business account and inbox already live. Connect the two once and your WhatsApp numbers appear in WhautoVoice ready to route.
A WhatsApp call never touches a phone line, so your carrier bills it as a SIP minute rather than a call minute: about US$0.004 a minute on Twilio. Meta charges separately on top, but only for calls you start: per Meta's own documentation all user-initiated calls are free, and business-initiated calls are billed per country in six-second pulses with volume tiers. You can also call a customer back from the inbox once they have granted permission in the chat. WhatsApp calling runs on a Telnyx or Twilio account, in both directions.
You pick a plan, or you do not. No card is taken during the trial, so nothing is charged unless you choose to continue. Your numbers stay in your carrier account either way.
